I ran into a very nice woman yesterday. Our son’s are on the Richfield tennis team. Through our introductions we discovered that her name is Diane and is a friend of your family. She learned that I taught at the same school where her friend’s kids, the inimitable Von Achens attended. When I then asked about you, she told me about your work in the Peace Corp and how you were teaching math.
Trust me when I say, I couldn’t be prouder of you. I haven’t had a chance to read your blog yet but will likely do so later today as I have a student teacher who is taking over my classes today. Suffice it to say, I look forward to reading more about your experiences.
